WOWHAUS

One of the brightest events of this year for us - both in terms of coverage and ‘happiness scale’ - was the Opening of the new Embankment in Tula, created from scratch by the WOWHAUS bureau, our regular client. We organised a press tour to the opening of the Embankment and the future Museum Quarter so that journalists from the leading media could see for themselves how the life of an ordinary Russian city can change if a competent approach is taken to the creation of its public spaces. It was an opportunity for the press not only to see the reaction of the citizens (mass enthusiasm!), but also to personally communicate with those who made the project possible: Governor Alexey Dyumin and architect Oleg Shapiro. In order to really feel the spirit of the city, we gathered everyone for a press lunch at the proven Tula gastropub Well Well Well Well, located in the new cluster Iskra, right next to the Embankment. Needless to say, everyone decided to come back to Tula for a full weekend, and we got over 50 beautiful publications to remember and beat the news of the $ rate hike.
