The task at hand was to rethink and redesign our operating process and arrive at a business model. The crucial point was the conversation we had with Katya Panova. The stars must have aligned as we clicked at once, it was an instant connection. We spoke the same language and thought the same way, even the interior in her Zoom background was designed in our own style. I got what the universe was trying to tell me: it was time to start working.
My strongest impression was the empathy, openness, and understanding coming from Katya. She was always there for us, always willing to help. She is always a pleasure to deal with, and her actions confirmed that our choice was just right. The advice and counselling we received exceeded the limits of our contract.
One of the assets of the agency is knowing the industry inside-out. The team is well aware of the specific business processes in architecture and development. In many cases, especially when it came to communications, they were able to find better answers than our own experts, although we do it on a daily basis.
Initially, we had no expectations whatsoever as we were just trying to get an external assessment. We stuck to the proposed action plan: first a strategic session, then an overview of the results.

We have only been working with Plan the Best for six months, but we have already completed a number of joint projects, and we have more in the pipeline.
In April 2020, we made a request to promote Arkanika's realised projects in the Russian and international media field.
In April 2020, we made a request to promote Arkanika's realised projects in the Russian and international media field. These are large objects with a pronounced social function, which we wanted to tell both the architectural community and potential customers about. We clearly recognised the need to cooperate with a professional team with experience in this area. We researched the market and considered different agencies, but the experience and cases of Plan the best attracted us the most. Our work started with a strategy session on positioning Arkanika, during which we were once again convinced that we had made the right choice. The girls (we talked to Ekaterina Panova, Olga Scherbakova and Daria Latysheva) conducted several interviews, finding out in detail all aspects of the bureau's work, the architectural experience of its founder Nikita Vykhodtsev, goals and objectives for the coming years, and only after analysing our desires and opportunities did they propose a plan for joint work.

I would like to emphasise, first of all, the professionalism of the agency's team. We fully delegated pr and communication tasks to them. Secondly, flexibility and individual approach. Our team of mathematicians knows better how to talk about their science than about themselves. And I feel we are not alone. There are plenty of small businesses whose owners focus on the product, its quality, and the way they are dealing with the existing clients. And yet they prove unable to attract new customers and therefore go bankrupt. We were very close to disaster ourselves.
At Plan the Best, they look at the entire scope of a company’s activities. They don’t use stupid phrases like “We were not paid to do this,” or “This is impossible.” Instead, they know how to work with the right departments of their client companies: they discuss everything with the in-house SMM specialists as well as the front office, and they keep up constant feedback on the performance of every campaign. As for lead generation, one of the signs of the agency’s high professionalism is the fact that I have no idea about the way Facebook campaigns are working, and yet I am able to appreciate the result. These people know very well that dealing with small businesses is quite different from working with unwieldy giants of the calibre of Philips or Danone. I worked with a team of three: an expert in PR and promotion, a psychologist, and a strategist. We held a series of in-depth interviews and tests. From the moment we started working together, we knew we were implementing structural changes. The entire process was based on a smart, sound, and well-conceived approach, and the dialogue was deeply empathic. Katya’s inside knowledge of architecture was also an asset: she is well versed in the ins and outs of the profession and the scene.
The strategic session format suited me best of all. The exercise consisted in several concise and intense units. First we established the planning horizon, set out goals, identified our strengths, and then proceeded to actual planning, trying to look at ourselves backwards from the future. I found this decomposition reasonable.
We proceeded from the general to the specific in order to achieve a comprehensive understanding of the principles and particular details, which translated into a road map enabling us to work towards the desired result. The other members of our team were able to contribute to the effort, which was also useful. In a short period of time, we were able to raise important issues, gain valid insights, identify solutions, and fit them into an action plan.
The deliverables of this exercise were a series of diagrams and printouts that I rely on in my day-to-day work. All in all, they provided a basis for our future business that we are going to put down in writing as documents, checklists, and company guidelines.”

The most memorable emotionally was the lecture on ikigai and resourcefulness. Probably because I came to the course with a complete loss of energy and no clear understanding of what to do about it. The course even exceeded my expectations, I just wanted to shake myself up and get some practical skills, but I got a comprehensive model that can be used not only in building a personal brand, but also in business in general. In addition, I feel a burst of energy and a desire to move forward.
The main conclusion is that personal brand is a complex topic that requires a professional approach. The course gives you the opportunity to be a competent customer for those who will further engage in it. But the course is not limited to a practical set of rules and tools, it makes you think about existential questions and this is the most valuable - a change of perspective on yourself and your activities
I recommend the course to everyone, it is very competently constructed. Each lecturer is a personality. The number of people assumes personal interaction, and it is very valuable. Interesting, rich and deep!

The main conclusion after the course is that my business, my design activities are inextricably linked to my personal brand. If earlier I was a bit shy of myself in the foreground, now I realise that the quality of my work, communication with the client and most importantly the implementation of the project depends on me. Whenever customers communicate with me or someone recommends my services, they always mention my name, not the name of the company.
The lectures were prepared professionally, qualitatively, complemented each other. Practical exercises were very useful. I liked the blocks on public speaking and preparation for public speaking. We, architects, often present something in our work.
It was useful for me to learn more about Instagram, media publications, social media. I can advise others to also blog, talk about their work, don't be shy.
The most important exercise in the course was ikigai. It helped me to understand my positioning, choose the most interesting projects for me and move in that direction.
I can confidently recommend the course to my colleagues, the only thing you need to realise is that one week should be completely free of work. Dedicate yourself to the process, to yourself and make sure to do your homework.

I was interested in everything, there was a lot of new information for me. The most difficult lectures were about communication strategy. This is not my area of expertise at all.
The main conclusion: social networks are firmly embedded in our lives and work (yes, quite a hackneyed phrase). It's important to know how to use it, because it's foolish to avoid these types of communication.
I advise everyone not to be afraid to talk about themselves.
It was surprising to me how different we, the participants of the Intensive, are, although we are all from the same sphere of activity. Everyone can have their own niche. The discovery was diving into myself, finding my competences and realising that they are the best basis for building a brand. Honestly and

The whole block on speeches and presentations caught my attention. They shared knowledge that can be put into practice immediately. After the intensives I once again come to the conclusion that it is important to learn, develop and communicate. In addition to professional skills, I would advise colleagues in my field to work on smm promotion and public speaking. Nowadays it is an integral part of any profession. The most important thing is not to be afraid of mistakes, gain experience and practice.

The lectures followed by workshops were the most memorable. It was an amazing feeling after the workshop on speech technique. I didn't think it was possible to improve the sound of the voice so quickly.
And in terms of meaning, I liked the tracks, when you work your way from what you want to what you have. I wasn't aware of this technique and it's very cool!
I could recommend Intensive to those who want to change and improve, but are a bit lost where to start and how. Also to those who value professional meaning and growth in their work more than financial, and to those who are afraid of the word ‘marketing :)
